Did you know that drivers who text and drive are 23 times more likely to get into an accident?
On April 19th, Cadott High School students grades 9-12 will have a MOCK accident experience take place. Mayo Clinic and Cadott FCCLA (Family, Career, Community Leaders of America) are partnering to bring the students a learning experience about drinking and texting while driving.
The importance of holding a mock accident is to help lower the number of people who are participating in risky behaviors. We will also be having a guest speaker who will talk about his experience on this topic. This will take place outside of the high school in the morning. There will be police, ambulance, and fire vehicles responding to this mock accident.
